The 2012 Blueprint: Excellence in the Middle of the Storm
To understand the work I do today, you have to go back to 2012. It was a year of massive transition for me, I was navigating a divorce and starting a co-parenting journey under one roof. It was a time that could have been defined by friction, but we chose to define it by expression.
The Blueprint of Excellence
My daughter approached me with a school flyer for a writing contest. There was no monetary prize, just a chance to be heard. I have always taught my children that their voices are their greatest assets, so that year, we went all in.
I took on the role of Creative Director, designing a period-accurate costume that my mother stitched together with care. It wasn't just about a contest; it was about capturing the grand essence of the historic Barnum Festival parade. At just nine years old, my daughter won, stepping into a storied legacy in Bridgeport, CT. She became a representative of grace and literacy, proving that when you prepare with intention, the world takes notice.
Winning the title of 2012 Lavinia Warren was just the beginning. For three months, I chaperoned her as she became a pillar of the community:

• Generational Healing: Entertaining seniors in nursing homes.
• Civic Pride: Performing at the 4th of July fireworks and local parades.
• Leadership: Speaking to other children about her experience and meeting with city leaders.

In this moment, she wasn't just my daughter; she was a recognized leader of the community. Standing between the Mayor and city officials, she held the Official City Proclamation and a State Citation—physical proof that even as we navigated a difficult family transition at home, we were still building a legacy of excellence that the highest offices in the state could see.
The Education of an Intuitive Strategist
My transition from the East Coast to the West wasn't just a change of scenery; it was a total reclamation of my life. In the very midst of my divorce, I didn't just survive, I chose to build. I launched my business while navigating the complexities of divorce and I returned to the classroom to further my education.
I knew that to truly help others "move mountains," I needed to master the mechanics of human behavior.
I dedicated myself to studying the psychology behind how men and women communicate, ensuring that my Intuitive Strategy was backed by both academic and the hard-won wisdom of the trenches. I went back to school to gain the language for what I already felt in my spirit.
The Work
That same spirit of 'moving mountains' is what drives my work today in California, my new sanctuary. Though the journey here was anything but easy, the challenges were the very things that led me to my true purpose. I don’t just write guides; I write life-saving strategies.
• I am the letter that reopens a closed USCIS case to reunite a family from Bangladesh.
• I am the voice that ghostwrites for a mother to win a custody battle and save her from financial ruin.
• The advocate for parents navigating the complex school system. As a member of the Parent and Community Advisory for a local charter school, I serve as a bridge between families and administration, ensuring that every parent is heard and every child has a voice.
• The humanitarian who shows up when the world feels like it's falling apart. Through my volunteer work with nonprofits for disaster relief, I provide grounded support to families during the most critical moments of human need.
• The peace I bring a grounded energy to environments where peace has been missing. By de-escalating moments of high friction, I help families clear the path for healing, leading them toward a future where a simple holiday dinner is a celebration of their new, safe beginning.
The Legacy Continues
Looking back at those photos from 2012, I see more than just a costume and a crown. I see a mother who refused to let a family transition break the spirit of her children. I see the beginning of a methodology that I now share with the world: the realization that you can walk through the fire of a divorce and emerge not just intact, but inspired.
Today, my work is about more than just "getting through." It is about reclaiming your narrative and building a sanctuary, even when the world feels like it's shifting beneath your feet. Whether I am advocating for a family’s legal rights or helping a household find its first moment of peace in thirty years, I am proof that your past does not dictate your peace, your strategy does.
I am Suzette M. Lindo. I am a mother, a strategist, and a cycle-breaker. And above all, I am proof that you can be divorced and displaced, but never destroyed.
